Our DefectMeasurement solution is an optical system for precise dimension measurements and accurate 3D digitalization of different anomalies like nicks, dents, scratches, breakouts, pitting or corrosion. It uses high-precision white-light interferometry in µm-resolution mounted on a flexible cobot to allow automated as well as hand-guided measurements within the workshop. The solution therefore reduces efforts in measurement labs by allowing the performance of repetitive measurement tasks with high precision requirements, as well as individual defect classification within the process, significantly raising result reproducibility and quality efficiency.
