Taconic’s 6525-08 RD is an exceptionally strong, high adhesion, plasma spray masking tape designed to withstand very high levels of abrasion and heat while exhibiting excellent conformability.
This masking tape will survive at temperatures above 625 ˚F whereby competing tapes would typically fail. Often, the 6525-08 RD can be used as a single layer, thus saving time and money associated with masking. The tape is designed for precision cutting and releases cleanly from metal leaving no residual adhesive. As an industry first, 6525-08 RD uses a release liner that is recyclable and very easy to work with.
