Okatent is currently completing the first of two modular hangars at the Fuerteventura Technology Park in the Canary Islands, Spain, located off the northwest coast of Africa, as part of a public tender for aviation infrastructure.
The project required a large clear-span solution capable of maximizing usable space for aircraft operations, while adapting to demanding wind and coastal conditions and ensuring fast execution within tight timelines.
With a footprint of approximately 48,437 ft² (4,500 m²) and a clear-span structure of over 200 ft and 60 ft in height, the hangar provides a fully column-free interior, enabling efficient aircraft storage and maintenance operations.
This type of infrastructure is particularly suited for environments where operational flexibility, speed of deployment and structural performance are critical.
If you would like to learn more about this project and its technical specifications, we would be pleased to meet you at the event.
