AGSE's Dallas/Fort Worth shop, next door to MTU Maintenance's primary North American jet engine repair hub at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport near Dallas, will provide maintenance, repair, and asset management support for an extensive range of ground support equipment and tooling, including engine stands, engine and airframe tooling, HPUs, GPUs, service carts, jacks, lifters, and hoists, all for the region's airline and MRO communities.
"This new facility transcends delivering the most innovative GSE and tooling aftermarket support in commercial aviation by also serving as an economical one-stop maintenance and repair solution for select engines and their transport stands, ensuring both continue to operate safely and efficiently," said Ben Grewcock of AGSE Global Services. "Being neighbors with a trusted MRO leader like MTU avoids shipping these critical assets to separate sites if the engine's AGSE or Frank Brown stand also does not meet OEM compliance."
